Purpose of the Course

To renew your existing qualification for a further two years.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This course is for you if you are a shipper or freight forwarder with work that involves preparing or handling dangerous goods intended for air transport (CASA group F, IATA categories 1 and 3), and you have an accreditation that expires within the next 3 months. You can complete this training anytime in the 90 days leading up to your qualification expiring and once successfully completed, you will add another 2 years to your existing certificate, retaining the day and month of your current expiry date.

By law, you are not allowed to complete this training after the expiry date of your current qualification.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Approximately 7 to 8 hours

WHAT’S IN THE COURSE?

The course reviews all aspects of preparing and accepting dangerous goods intended for air transport. Ir includes changes to the regulations and legislation that have taken place since you completed your previous course.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

The successful completion of the assessment at the end of the course will result in a qualification approved by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and IATA.
